Apparently Bucciarati’s group didn’t watch Part 3 of Jojo – when you’re being pursued by a stand user, the only safe way of travel is on foot! This is a mistake that they pay pretty dearly for as well…

As our stand users try to escape Venice and return to the boss’ origin, a strange stand user begins approaching them very quickly and allows himself to be shot dead by Mista with no resistance. Naturally, there’s no way something like this happens and a work of fiction would have it mean absolutely nothing! I speculated as did most I’m sure that his stand would only activate upon his death (which also begs the question – how did he ever know it works this way? You can only die once as it turns out!) To live for this sole moment – sure hope it was worth it buddy.

After they get on the plane and every cell inside of me is done screaming at them for trapping themselves in the air with an inevitable stand user a-la part 3, they deal with the consequences via a stand that acts as a “cancer” that attacks anything that moves. I was fairly surprised to see it take out Giorno, Mista, and Naranchia in such a brief amount of time, but I was certain they’d be ok. Even Giorno forcibly removing his other arm proved nothing – this is Giorno we’re talking about, I’m sure he has a back-up plan (And he did, via the broach shown at the end of the episode).

There was also a small bit of highlighting Bucciarati’s condition once again by Trish – she noticed that despite having a deep wound he incurred very little bleeding. That wasn’t what I noticed – not sure if it was simply a stylistic choice or not but it appeared he had very “contents” to his leg if you follow me. It could very well have just been the art.

Considering the situation and the title of the next episode, I’m expecting that we’ll see Trish’s stand manifest in the next episode. Knowing Jojo, she’ll have to find a way to deal with this problem herself.
